    • Long & Co’s property management package includes property viewings and listing on popular lettings websites, tenant screening, recording all relevant information and documentation such as tenancy agreements, routine property inspections and maintenance, management of rent payments and collection of arrears, and adherence to the Residential Tenancies Act and all relevant laws and regulations for landlords and tenancies in Ireland.

  • How do you screen potential tenants?

    • We screen potential tenants on behalf of our clients for their properties using methods such as meeting with the tenant during an in-person viewing, performing robust background checks. These may include criminal searches, educational and/or employment verification, and global government watchlist searches. We ensure, to the best of our ability, to minimise potential risks to your property and to only allow screened, mature tenants of good character.

  • How are maintenance issues handled?

    • Property maintenance issues are handled through a balance of ongoing scheduled maintenance and ad hoc reactive maintenance for your property. Emergency situations such as lost keys or broken locks are handled by 24/7 locksmiths on call, whereas less urgent situations are handled promptly and responsibly by our network of trusted trade professionals. Scheduled maintenance may include things like post-tenancy cleaning, painting, gardening and grounds care.

  • What happens if a tenant doesn’t pay rent?

    • If a tenant does not pay rent, our team will issue reminders, notices of arrears, or arrange for collections, as appropriate.
