According to this Report Galway City (+9.0%) mirrored the national trend of growth (9%) with average house price at €389,042 compared to the national average price of a home listed for sale in Ireland in the final three months of 2024 at just over €330,000.
Across Galway County, prices rose by 4.9% with an average house price at €278,574.
New-build prices
Based on 7,229 transactions, the median price of a newly-built home, January to September 2024 in Galway was €443,400 compared with the national price at €410,000.
